John Couch

John Couch, Owner

John Couch is a pioneer of the American tech boom and is most well known as one of the top executives at Apple. His career began as a software engineer at Hewlett-Packard and was then hired by Steve Jobs as the 54th employee of Apple in 1978 and in 1979 became Apple’s first Vice President of Software. Inspired by his passion for cabernet sauvignon and his Italian heritage, Couch purchased the property in the backyard of Silicon Valley and built the winery from the ground up.

“Our vision was to create a destination where friends and family could come together and enjoy wine made from some of the most incredible cabernet grapes.”
